Do you need to know what Microsoft Project can do, but you do not need to do it yourself? This course covers an overview of the critical knowledge and skills a project professional will need to apply the basic principles of project management when creating a project plan with Microsoft Project (2010 / 2013 /2016 or 2019) during the planning phase of a project. It also discusses how you can utilize Microsoft Project to apply these principles applicable to project plan execution, updating tasks and the plan, plan optimization, progress monitoring, corrective actions, forecasting, and progress reporting. This course does not include practical work – just a discussion of the relevant project management principles that should be addressed on your project and how Microsoft Project can support you.
