What to learn?

You will learn the basic process of Root Cause Analysis, which is a universally applicable skill and does not depend on your qualifications, discipline, industry or situation. You will also learn a group of powerful tools which can be applied in almost any engineering problem situation and even in many non-engineering problems too. We will discuss case studies to help you understand the application of the tools you learn. You will get hands-on through a range of exercises aimed at teaching the skills and tools through simple case-studies and scenarios.


  • It will be advisable to create a folder to keep your assignments and answers as you will need to refer back to some of the earlier ones later in the course.
